New rules Corona
Dear pupils, parent(s)/carer(s),
The cabinet has decided to relax the corona measures and to open up society in steps. The relaxed rules and the summary of the press conference can be read on the website of the central government..
For secondary education and our school, the corona rules will change on Friday 18 February and on 25 February. Until then, we ask students and staff to adhere to the rules that apply.
From 18 February:
- Reporting sick/quarantine
If you have symptoms, stay at home and call in sick. A student or employee who is infected with the coronavirus stays at home for five days. You can only go back to school after those five days if you are free of complaints for at least 24 hours.
- Self-testing
The advice to pupils and staff to take a preventive self-test twice a week remains. If you have a positive self-test, you stay at home.
- Access to the school
Parents and carers can return to school (with a face mask) for conversations, parent and information evenings and open days.
From 25 Feb:
- Face masks
The mask requirement at school expires. You can of course wear a mouth mask.
- Keep a distance of 1.5 meters
Students do not have to keep a distance of 1.5 meters from employees of the school. Employees also no longer have to keep a distance of 1.5 meters between themselves. It is wise to keep your distance where possible.
Basic rules continue to apply at school
The number of infections is high and that is why we remain cautious at school.
- stay at home in case of complaints and test yourself or get tested at the GGD;
- wash your hands often and thoroughly;
- cough and sneeze into your elbow;
- give each other space where possible;
- ventilate sufficiently.
Just good education together
We hope that with the relaxations, society for all of us, but especially for our students, will become more and more normal again. We give our students good education, in the classroom, at school with friends and girlfriends. Our employees will continue to do their best for this. If it is necessary to give online education, we will inform you about this.
Do you have questions about the relaxation of the rules or do you have a fragile health? Please contact the school.
We wish everyone a nice and healthy continuation of the school year!
